We had such a brilliant time at Perlan Guest House! The apartment C, 201 was immaculate, spacious and classily furnished with a fantastic shower, and very comfortable bed. Maria, the owner was friendly and approachable, and ensured our apartment was efficiently serviced every day.

The location is excellent; we were a block from the main street, in a very quiet building. We really felt part of the neighbourhood.

Although Iceland is obviously very expensive, these apartments represent good value for money, and allowed us to cook for ourselves and save money. We did, however, eat out several times. Indian Mango - 50m away was great, and everywhere we tried had a good standard of food and excellent coffee! We recommend Maria's apartments to everyone, and would love to go back, particularly if the sun shone on us again, as it did during our whole week!

We stayed in apartment 201, which was very clean and modern, with virtually every kitchen appliance you can think of! The bathroom was spacious and had a great shower, and we had comfy beds, a flat-screen TV and DVD recorder.

The location couldn't be faulted: very central, just one street back from the main shopping/party street, so easy to stagger home but also quiet so we could get some much-needed sleep!

Maria is always on hand to help with anything you need, and was a very friendly owner and neighbour - even coming out into the rain to meet us when we arrived from the airport at 12.30am!

The apartment definitely went over and above our expectations, and coupled with some great food, fun nights out, adventures, and some better than expected weather, our trip to Iceland was simply brilliant.

We had a lovely stay in this great guesthouse. We were three people and it was a perfect choice - very clean and comfortable - highly recommended.
